The room is great for a solo traveler. Small but not too small. Great location, right on the beach and in the center. Very clean and well maintained.
Can be really noisy. I'm really not a light sleeper but even for me it was too much.

Casa Peregrino has three room types. The Small Double is 16 m² with no balcony. The King Suite is 28 m² with a balcony, and the Apartment is 34 m² with a balcony and a small kitchen, for up to three.

Prices hardly change through the winter. For three nights for two, refundable and taxes included, the Small Double cost $441 in early December 2026 and $461 from mid-January to mid-March 2027, then $341 in mid-June. The King Suite cost $552 to $582 in winter and $461 in June, and the Apartment $662 to $702 in winter and $582 in June. Non-refundable rates were about 10% cheaper.
Pick the back of the building if you want sleep. Street-facing rooms catch the bar noise, while rooms at the back are quiet, one guest said. Couples should book at least the King Suite: one couple found the Small Double too cramped for more than a couple of nights.

The location and the hosts win guests over. Guests describe a central spot a minute or two from the beach, surrounded by restaurants, cafés and shops, and an easy walk from the ferry. They praise spotless, stylish rooms with comfortable beds and thoughtful extras, from a coffee maker and toiletries to earplugs, and hosts who replied within minutes and let them stay after check-out. The rooftop pool and hot tub with a sea view are a bonus.
Noise is the trade-off. About 15 guests mention street, bar and party noise into the early hours, mostly in street-facing rooms; one January guest heard music until 6:30am. The hotel leaves earplugs in the rooms.
Smaller gripes: there is no lift, so you carry your bags up the stairs; a few guests had no water or cold water for a while; the rooftop pool is small; and one guest missed a kettle, another closed storage.
What You Should Know
- Ask for a room at the back. Guests say they are much quieter than the street side.
- Pack light. There is no lift, and rooms are up the stairs.
- Message the hosts before you arrive. They can arrange a golf-cart taxi from the ferry and book tours.
