Good location. Very good breakfast with frijoles and salsa verde, broccolis, cauliflower, plus the regular things like scrambled eggs and fruits. When you are traveling, you tend to lack fiber in your diet, so this breakfast helped us load up with fiber. Free parking was a plus.
Not so cheap. Wish it was more Mexican price. It was a standard American Holiday In Express price I’ve paid in the USA. Therefore I have mixed feelings about this hotel.

It is one of Playa's best-value stays. Every rate we found included breakfast. For three nights for two, the cheapest non-refundable room cost $282 in early December 2026, $322 in mid-February, $278 in mid-March and $261 in mid-June 2027, taxes included. Refundable rooms cost $393 plus $11 in mid-January and $294 plus $11 in mid-March. A suite started at $319 in March.
Ask for an outside view. One guest asked for one and was told the floor was being worked on, and another found the room's air stuffy and damp. If you are three or more, ask for a proper bed rather than the sofa bed: two guests had to ask for a mattress topper.

They describe a central but quiet spot near Fifth Avenue, a supermarket next door, spacious and spotless rooms, very comfortable beds and friendly staff, including a tour desk that helped plan trips to Chichén Itzá, Tulum and the cenotes. The free parking and the rooftop pool come up often, and one couple was upgraded free to a partner hotel.
The breakfast is the weak spot. About 20 guests found it basic and repetitive, with little fruit or bread later in the morning and a strict 10am close. Others mention no air-conditioning in the lobby and breakfast area, weak shower pressure, a hard sofa bed, foam cups instead of mugs, and a few cleaning lapses.
