“High end stay, with world class customer service!”
The recent updates were nice, clean and modern design.
We stayed on the 3rd floor and found it to be consistently hotter than our friends floors who were on the 1st and 2nd. Heat rises of course, but the AC couldn’t keep up. We still loved our room though.

“Best resort ever”
We went here for our honeymoon and had the absolute best time ever! The entire staff is so kind and welcoming! They are so attentive! The food is absolutely incredible! My husband has celiac disease so we were worried about cross contamination and food options, but they were SOO accommodating to his allergy! They had plenty of gluten free options and substitutes. He was able to eat much more than we thought he would! The whole resort was so cleanly and cozy! It was so fun being right by the cruise ship port and walking around the town! I would 100% recommend Cozumel palace!

February is the priciest month. In our price checks for three nights for two, all-inclusive with taxes included, a refundable Ocean View Suite cost $1,396 in early December 2026, $1,707 in mid-January 2027, $2,363 in mid-February, $1,960 in mid-March and $1,648 in mid-June. Non-refundable rates were about $70 to $200 cheaper. An Ocean Front Suite cost about $220 to $260 more in December and January.
Read the resort-credit fine print. Stays of four nights or more come with $250 in resort credit, but a 16% service fee applies to anything you pay for with it, and only $50 can go on the spa. Guests also get free access to the Palace resorts in Cancún, except Le Blanc.
Check the view. One guest booked an ocean view and got a room looking over a large terrace with the sea beyond it, and a third-floor guest found the air-conditioning struggled in the heat.
What Guests Say About Cozumel Palace
Across 432 reviews, Cozumel Palace holds a 9.4 out of 10. The 120 most recent reviews, from March to early October 2026, average 9.7, with 106 perfect 10s. Many are thank-you notes to named staff from repeat guests and Palace members, so we weighed the longer reviews more.
The staff are the reason people come back. Guests describe being greeted by name from day one, staff decorating rooms and pool cabanas for birthdays and graduations, and coming back twice a year for 12, 16 or 35 years. Families praise the entertainment and kids' crews and the evening shows, and one parent of a son with autism said they could finally relax on holiday.
Divers and snorkelers love it. The dive shop is on site, and guests snorkel straight off the pier on a small reef in clear water. Guests praise the food, especially Momo for sushi, Bugambilia, Gondola and the breakfast buffet, and like walking into town.
The few complaints are specific. There is no sandy beach, and one guest wished they could swim in the sea at any hour. The resort is small, with one tiered pool that can be busy and noisy and closes before 8pm. One guest found dinner reservations in the app booked out two days ahead, one felt over-policed by rules, and one couple was pressed into a membership presentation at another Palace resort on their first full day.
What You Should Know
- Book dinners in the app as soon as you can. One guest found the restaurants full unless booked two days ahead.
- Do not expect a beach. You swim and snorkel from the pier and the shore over a small reef.
- Politely decline the membership tour if you are not interested. One couple lost their first full day to a sales presentation.
- Stay four nights or more for the $250 resort credit, but remember the 16% service fee on anything you use it for.
