Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is the all-inclusive with the strongest guest record in the Cancún Hotel Zone: 9.4 out of 10 across 2,678 reviews, and a perfect 10 for service. Every room is a suite with an ocean view, the beach is on the calm side of Punta Cancún, and the nightlife is walkable. Check live prices for your dates below.
Why Guests Choose It
- Service is the standout. Its review analysis scores service a perfect 10 out of 10, the top mark of its eight categories, and recent guests name pool servers, concierges and chefs one by one.
- Every room is a suite of at least 52 m², and every room type is sold as ocean view or ocean front.
- A sheltered beach on the calm side of Punta Cancún. Guests describe calm water for swimming and staff who keep the beach clear of sargassum.
- Built for families as well as couples: a kids' club that runs by day and again from 6 p.m., nightly shows, and an adults-only pool for everyone else.
- Walkable to the Punta Cancún nightlife and shopping strip, which most Hotel Zone all-inclusives are not.
Best for
- Families who want a kids' club and space, since every room is a suite
- Couples who want an all-inclusive but also want to walk out to bars and shops at night
- Travellers who rate service above modern design
Think twice if
- You want a quiet, adults-only resort: it is big, busy and full of families
- You want a contemporary room: the resort dates from the 1990s, and a few guests found the rooms dated
- You dislike sales pitches: vacation-club staff work the lobby and the lift area

Exceptional
2,678 guest reviews
Guests often praise
- Spectacular, attentive service
- Very clean and well maintained rooms
- Excellent beachfront location
- Great pools and family activities
- Wide variety of on-site restaurants and good specialty menus
- Friendly and professional staff
Some guests mention
- Aggressive vacation-club salespeople near elevators
- Menus repetitive; limited dessert variety and some breakfast complaints
- Lower-floor 'Ocean View' rooms may have poor actual views
- Room maintenance issues reported (shower leak, clogged sink)
- Noise late at night in some areas and guests reserving chairs with towels
- Extra charges for umbrellas and certain services
- Difficulty securing desired dinner reservations when busy
Multiple reviews note rooms are "super clean" and well maintained; housekeeping consistently praised.
Service repeatedly described as spectacular, attentive and professional — staff anticipated needs and were very helpful.
Excellent beachfront location and convenient setting praised in many reviews, though some note lower-floor 'Ocean View' rooms have limited actual views.
Rooms are described as large and comfortable, but a few guests reported maintenance issues (shower dripping, clogged sink), noise from adjacent rooms/chairs, and disappointing low-floor side ocean views.
Pools, activities for all ages and on-site entertainment are frequently highlighted; wide range of on-site services and conveniences, though some extras (e.g., umbrellas) have added costs.
Several guests felt the hotel is well priced for what it offers, but others cited extra charges, limited food variety and maintenance issues that reduced perceived value.
Many positive comments about the quality (ceviches, specialty restaurants) and variety, but repeated notes about menus being the same daily, limited desserts, breakfast choices and reservation difficulties at high occupancy.
Overall stays described as relaxing, wonderful and family-friendly with excellent staff and facilities; a few operational and maintenance negatives did not overshadow the generally excellent experience.

All of the staff and the customer service
I have nothing I didn't like they were always accommodating only thing I wish they had were shower nozzles in some more of the rooms beside rooms with disabilities

“An Exceptional Beachfront Resort with Wonderful Service and Unforgettable Perks”
Absolutely gorgeous property in a stunning beachfront setting. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the resort’s elegant and charming décor. The lobby was particularly beautiful, with fresh, colorful floral arrangements that added a luxurious and welcoming touch each day. Our room was incredibly spacious and grand. We had booked a two-bedroom Infinite Oceanfront Master Suite and were pleasantly surprised to receive connecting rooms. This setup is ideal for larger families traveling together, as it provides both space and privacy while still keeping everyone conveniently connected. We chose the Infinite category, which comes at an additional cost, but in our opinion, the added benefits made it well worth it. There are numerous perks included with the Infinite experience, all of which are detailed on the resort’s website. On our first day, our dedicated Infinite concierge took the time to personally explain all of the benefits and amenities available to us. Our concierge, Abigail, was exceptional—warm, professional, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. She made everything effortless and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The Infinite perks added a truly special dimension to our vacation. We enjoyed hydrotherapy at the resort’s spectacular spa, jet ski sessions, special beachside dining, and several other experiences. These thoughtful extras made our stay feel much more personalized and elevated than a typical all-inclusive resort experience. We were also celebrating a special occasion with our family, and the dinner at the beach was one of the highlights of our trip. Our servers, Enrique, Oscar, and Giovanni, were wonderful and helped make the evening genuinely memorable. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made our celebration even more special. Throughout the resort, the service was consistently excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and seemed genuinely happy to assist guests. The heated pools were another wonderful feature, especially in the evenings, and the private beach area was beautifully maintained. One thing that particularly stood out was the cleanliness of the beach. I’m including a photo of the beach adjacent to the property, which had a significant amount of sargassum during our visit. In contrast, the beach directly in front of Grand Fiesta was kept remarkably clean and spotless by the resort staff, and we did not see any noticeable sargassum on the resort’s beach during our stay. The private Infinite beach area was especially nice, as we never felt the need to rush out early to secure beach chairs. The dining experience was also very enjoyable. The food was consistently tasty across the restaurants we visited, and making dinner reservations was incredibly convenient thanks to Abigail and the Infinite concierge service. For families, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. The game room was always lively, with both children and adults enjoying the space, and the resort offers an impressive variety of amenities and activities. Overall, Grand Fiesta was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The combination of the beautiful beachfront setting, elegant surroundings, spacious accommodations, excellent service, exceptional Infinite benefits, and family-friendly amenities made our stay truly memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return in the future. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a beautiful beachfront resort with outstanding service and a little extra luxury

Which Suite to Book at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach
Every room here is a suite, and they split into two groups. The standard suites are all 52 m² and are sold as Ocean View or Ocean Front, with either one super-king bed for two or two beds for up to four. The Infinite suites are the resort's top tier: bigger master and honeymoon suites, plus two-bedroom suites for six.

Book Ocean Front, not Ocean View. Ocean Front is the upgrade we'd pay for. Recent guests say the Ocean View suites are on the lowest two floors, sometimes on the side of the building, and one family could see the sea only by leaning out over the balcony past the trees and pool. Staff told them a real view needs a higher Ocean Front suite. When we priced a three-night stay for two in mid-November 2026, Ocean Front cost $101 more than Ocean View for the whole stay ($1,324 against $1,223), so the upgrade is cheap.
For families, the Double suites sleep four in 52 m², which is more space than a standard room at most Hotel Zone resorts. For six, the two-bedroom suites mostly appeared in our summer price checks, not in November or January.
Infinite is the club level. One family who booked it describe a dedicated concierge who handled their dinner reservations, a private beach area where they never had to hunt for loungers, spa hydrotherapy, jet-ski time and a beach dinner. It costs a lot more: in a June 2027 price check, the Infinite One Bedroom Master Suite was $3,032 for three nights against $2,236 for an Ocean View Suite Double. For most stays we'd spend that money on an Ocean Front suite instead. Infinite makes most sense if you would otherwise spend hours queueing for reservations and chairs.
It is all-inclusive. On four of the five dates we priced, every rate was all-inclusive. On the fifth, some rates were labelled room only or breakfast, and both cost more than the all-inclusive rate. Check the meal plan before you pay, and allow for about 20% in taxes and fees added at checkout on most rates.
What Guests Say About Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach
Across 2,678 reviews, Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach scores 9.4 out of 10. Its review analysis rates service (10), location (9.8) and overall experience (9.7) highest, and room quality and value for money lowest, at 8.8 each. We read the 97 most recent reviews that included text, from late June to mid-September 2026.
The staff come up more than anything else. Guests name pool servers, bartenders, concierges and chefs by name, and several are on their second or fifth stay. One couple who have stayed at many all-inclusives put it close to the top of their list for service alone.
The beach and pools come next. Reviewers describe calm, clear water, a beach kept clean even in sargassum season, heated pools, and an adults-only pool that is clearly signposted. Families single out the kids' club: one four-year-old asked to go every day.
Food divides people. Most guests rate it well above a typical all-inclusive, especially the ceviche, the seafood restaurant and the French restaurant, La Basilic, which carries a small surcharge. The critical reviews say the buffet menu barely changes over a long stay, desserts are limited, there are few vegetarian options, and birds get into the Isla Contoy buffet.
The complaints are about crowds and extras. On busy arrival days, guests describe a long check-in queue followed by another queue to book dinner. Vacation-club salespeople wait near the lifts. Some extras cost more, including the spa, beach umbrellas and, in one case, $75 for a nearly lost wristband. A few guests found their rooms dated, damp-smelling or noisy from chairs scraping in the room above.
What You Should Know
- Book dinner flexibly. Instead of asking for set times, ask what is free each night, or check the same day for cancellations. Guests who did that ate everywhere they wanted.
- Skip the main breakfast queue. One couple ate breakfast at the beachside seafood restaurant instead, with a sea view and no line.
- If a vacation-club salesperson approaches as a "concierge", you can say no and walk on. Several recent guests mention the pitch.
- Watch young children closely at the pools. In June 2026 one family described their toddler nearly drowning and said they saw no lifeguard on duty at the time.
Getting to Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach
The resort is at Km 9.5 on Boulevard Kukulcán, at Punta Cancún, the corner where the Hotel Zone turns south. That puts it on the sheltered, north-facing side of the corner, a short walk from the shops, bars and clubs of the Punta Cancún strip. Playa Caracol, one of the calmest swimming beaches in Cancún, is about 390 m away; see our Playa Caracol guide. One guest walked the beach as far as the lighthouse; wear water shoes, because there are rocks.
Cancún International Airport (CUN) is south of the Hotel Zone, typically 20 to 35 minutes away by road. The resort lists an airport shuttle at extra cost, and our Cancún airport transfer guide compares shared shuttles, private vans and taxis.
Sargassum seaweed is a summer issue on the Caribbean coast. Guests in July and August 2026 found this beach clean while neighbouring beaches had seaweed, but one couple saw some. Our Cancún sargassum season guide covers when it peaks.
Compare Other Cancún All-Inclusive Resorts
Not sure Coral Beach is the right fit? These are four of the other top-rated all-inclusive resorts in the Hotel Zone that we can book, from adults-only to the family beaches of the southern strip. Our full Cancún all-inclusive guide compares many more, and our Hotel Zone guide ranks the strip kilometre by kilometre.
Would rather not go all-inclusive? Kempinski Hotel Cancún, the former Ritz-Carlton, scores 9.2 out of 10 and sells rooms with or without breakfast.
