“Tequila tasting”
Had the best time participating in the tequila tasting today. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. I learned a lot and was able to taste several different tequilas and mezcals. I would love to do this again and if you have the chance I definitely recommend!!!

TRS Coral has no standard rooms. The entry level is the 66 m² Junior Suite with a garden, ocean or beachside view, and the 67 m² Swim Up Junior Suites open straight onto a pool. The Loft Suites are 100 m², with a jacuzzi on the terrace.

Book early for March. In our price checks for three nights for two, all-inclusive with taxes included, a refundable Junior Suite cost $1,432 in mid-January 2027, $1,550 in mid-February, $2,061 in mid-March and $1,696 in mid-June. In mid-November 2026 only Loft Suites were left, from $1,616. Some rates are labelled "Room Only" or "Full Board", but TRS is all-inclusive, so pick a rate labelled all-inclusive.
Check the view you're paying for. One guest paid for beachside and got poolside, and another was given a king bed instead of two doubles. Confirm your suite type with your butler on arrival. A guest upgraded to a swim-up suite called it the most beautiful room they had stayed in, while another found their swim-up pool dirty with bird droppings.

Across 1,253 reviews, TRS Coral holds a 9.0 out of 10. The 120 most recent reviews, from mid-April to the end of August 2026, average 9.2, with 86 perfect 10s and six scores of 4 or lower.
The butlers are the story. Review after review names a butler who booked dinners, found tables when none were left, decorated rooms for birthdays or brought medicine on a day off. Guests also praise the pool and beach waiters, the spa, the gym, the Chic Cabaret show and a busy program of classes, from tequila and chocolate tastings to salsa and paddleboarding.
The food is good, not great. El Gaucho, La Bohème and Tentazione get the warmest reviews, and some guests ate on the Grand Palladium side too, but about a dozen found the food average or hit-and-miss, and a few could not get dinner reservations.
Other complaints are about upkeep and the shared complex. A few guests had no hot water or broken plumbing, one found the property worn, and one adults-only guest was disappointed to see children from the connected family resort. One guest found the single pool on the TRS side noisy during activities, and another missed a coffee bar on the adults-only side.
What You Should Know
- Message your butler on WhatsApp on day one and book dinners for the whole week. One guest who did had no trouble all week.
- Expect some seaweed in summer. Guests in May and August found a little on the beach.
- Use the Grand Palladium side. Guests liked its Japanese, Indian and teppanyaki restaurants.
- Book your airport transfer before you travel. One guest struggled to arrange transport on arrival, and there is no public bus into the complex.
